TUFFAK® VR provides strong UV stability to resist yellowing and loss of clarity, while TUFFAK® AR and Marine 5 add both UV and abrasion resistance for harsher marine exposure. Pressed-polished PVC typically discolours and hardens within a few seasons; TUFFAK® polycarbonate maintains optical quality far longer.
PVC is soft and marks easily. TUFFAK® AR and TUFFAK® Marine 5 are abrasion-resistant, engineered to stand up to salt crystals, sand, wiper action, and routine washdowns, preserving clear vision and appearance.
Note: TUFFAK® VR is not abrasion-resistant; choose AR or Marine 5 for high-wear zones.
